This is the professional translator profile we seek:
- Mother tongue: Spanish or German
- Source languages: Spanish or German
- Languages mastered: Spanish, German and English
- University qualification
- At least 3 years of experience in the sector
- Lengthy stays in the countries where the working languages are spoken
- Specialisation in specific topics
- Registered as self-employed
- User of Trados Studio, Wordfast, Déjà Vu, Transit and/or MemoQ
- 8-hour-a-day, 5-day-a-week availability (reachable in office working hours)

Why are we part of the European Union EGPS
The European Commission-funded European Graduate Placement Scheme seeks to establish a harmonised work experience model for postgraduate translation students as well as an exchange platform between universities, companies and students.
The initiative has been designed both to improve student mobility and practical training and to include business reality in academic syllabuses to improve the professional outlook of translation students.
